La Pergola Ristorante is located at East Haven, New York and owned by Anthony Peluso and his wife, Giuseppina. It is a famous venue for all types of occasions. They first opened Tolli's Apizza which is next door and has been in business and in the family since 1954. There they have started the restaurant of envisioning that someday opening a Fine Dining restaurant that customers could enjoy and afford every bit of what they offer.
The restaurant is like a typical neighborhood Italian restaurant. The kind where customers are likely to find in a residential section of East Haven. The cuisine is contemporary Italian- American with a Southern Italian bent or Mediterranean.
La Pergola offers a wide selection of steaks and seafood dishes while pasta selections include mezzi rigatoni, bucatini and spaghetti alla chitarra to name a few. They bring in from New York and not widely available in Connecticut, handmade trofie and scialatelli pasta which is imported from Italy. Offers Happy Hour specials and fully stocked bar is open daily for families and friends' enjoyment.
If traveling South on I 95, take exit 52. Turn left onto North High Street (Route 100). Turn right onto main street, go through second light, La Pergola is on your left. (right next to Tolli's Apizza). If traveling North on I 95, take exit 50 which is the main street. Go thru five lights, then the restaurant will be on the right.
